Grievance and fear cometh I
Thoughts as they fill my heart in fist and clench
Withering me out with horror and overpowering stench
O, methinks so slow my funeral hour wanes
Lo!It draws on apace transporting I to begotten pains
Methought I was, my name and calendar forsooth my cue
Methought I had,but aught I can tell not a clue
Doth it cometh extempore,with a rolling gait?
Me answered not for I might cometh late
Prepared so is I, for my stay is a guest here sojourned
From Lethe I shan't drink but as guest wise returned
