CATATONIC MAGIC

Catatonic Magic

I was both cursed and blessed, with the world's most vicious tounge;
to distance myself, around those I was among.
Placing my trust in a warm sense and sight,
bestowed the gift of my strength, to face every fight.
The sun as it rises; the moon as it beams,
that catatonic magic, asleep she appeared in my dreams.

An ancient ghost, stood by my bed,
as I was calling asleep scared, I heard the things that she said.
Be brave, be strong you beautiful child;
I'll be there to protect you, through the suffering fire.
You'll see things, few people have ever seen
And no one will understand you or the places you will have been.

I'm your oracle, defender, your teacher and guide;
through the violence and bloodshed, I'll always remain at your side.
I can't help you with the torment, but I'll always lead you to safety,
all your future challenges will be almost impossible, varying by every strongest degree.
You'll always be shattered, but your insights will be astonishing!
Every aspect of life will always be uncomfortable.
An end result is all I am promising...

You'll die many times, to appreciate what you're given;
I grant you a lucky star, to watch over as you're traveling.
As you listen to your tape, in your little bed...
Rest little one, there are battles ahead.
There's something remarkable, you've been here many times before;
from nameless countries, to each rocky shore.

You'll many keys most won't, you'll live in the past;
which will provide for your future..  Do as you must!
You'll face humiliation, persecution and situations so rare,
It doesn't matter if others don't but I'll always care.
I'll look you face to face one day, in your over trusting eyes,
you won't know me when you see me; your overseer in disguise.

You'll do what you have to, to get by; I'll never judge your soul,
I already know what's going, in a world far too cruel.
We've met in past life's, so don't be afraid;
this world will always seem strange to you, but I'll show you the way.

If you've any questions, I can't answer them now...
But you'll always sense my presence. I can show you how...

There's noise outside your bedroom, strangers run abundant,
right now, there's absolutely nothing you can do about it.
Stay safe and warm, I'll guard your soul in your slumber,
through the howls of the hounds from hell, through all raging thunder.
You were birthed in this realm for a reason, the inevitable is tragic;
But I can keep you alive, through this catatonic magic...
