Carm Org

all was not known!
All was not known

yet each stood in a Home, saying:

We know!  we Know.
but all was not known

And the dimness hung over their heads
wherever they went

It drifted low, and drifted High
It blocked out parts of the Sky!

because they did not know
What they Did Not Know

In labels, and categories
They toiled their Time away

day after day, to say it just right
How wrong they had it, just so

At this point in time, but not tomorrow
When new understanding would come

and enlighten them. About something more
something missing, something that the Spirit

would bring to their attention
and at last, after many a mile, ten years from now
they would stop on the road And say:

WE DID NOT KNOW
