Why I fear to sleep

I wonder why I don't go to bed and wander off to sleep.
But something clicks in my mind that it would be tomorrow,
so I decide that no matter how tired,
no matter all the things we have transpired,
My biggest fear is I am already sleeping while all the night things are stuck out creeping
I can stay awake for a day or more as I lay here watching you fade in such sleep, I feel like I took a giant leap towards your love so deep
All I want is you to never leave I feel like if you did all I would be able to do is greive
The sorrow from my heart would just fall completely apart

    Wonderful thoughts

Have tried to re write your poem in my style

In restless contemplation, I resist the call of sleep,
For in the passing hours, I dread what time may reap.
Though weariness consumes me, and day gives way to night,
I linger in the present, holding onto love so tight.

My greatest apprehension, that slumber steals me away,
While unseen nocturnal creatures in the darkness play.
I persevere in wakefulness, a day or even more,
Observing your serene repose, a love I can't ignore.

In taking leaps toward a love profound and ever deep,
I marvel at your tranquil rest, my heart forever keep.
All I long for is your presence, never to depart,
The thought of losing you, would tear my fragile heart.

Embraced by sorrow, I would grieve, unable to withstand,
The loss of you, my dearest love, as time runs through like sand.
Yet, as I ponder on the brink of night's uncertain shore,
I cherish every fleeting breath, and love you evermore.
