Stoic

Black darkness, numbing cold
A heart of fridged ice and stone.
Not beating, just repeating in silent agony
A terrible woe
Bitter pain no longer felt;
Longing for the ice to melt.
But knowing once the ice is gone
There will be no reason to carry on.
No sorrow, no hurt, no pain, no fear
No joy, no jubilee, no happiness, no tears.
Just numbness, emotionless, hopelessness, lost.
Everything left from opening Pandora's Box
Black darkness, numbing cold;
A heart of fridged ice and stone.
