The Comeback call

Abid 1990 (india)

I step through the door, a familiar creak,
And suddenly I feel so small and weak.

The silence hits me like a tidal wave,
And I'm left here, alone, to ponder and rave.

Our home is empty, devoid of your laughter,
The silence is heavy, like a weight I can't master.

I roam through the rooms, searching for you,
But all I find is emptiness, and my heart breaks anew.

I remember the fights, the words we said,
And how you decided to go away instead.

You needed time to think, to figure out,
If we were meant to be together, without a doubt.

But as I stand here, in this empty space,
I realize that home is not a place.

It's not just four walls and a roof overhead,
It's the love we share, the life we led.

And I know that I love you, with all my heart,
And that we've been through too much to just fall apart.

I hope you see that, and you come back to me,
And together we'll make our home the way it's meant to be.

So I'll wait for you, with open arms,
And hope that you see, the love that's never harmed.

My life won't be the same, without you by my side,
So come back to me, and let's take this ride.
