CONTRACT

mad hippie poet 1974 (new jersey)

You do not understand I had an agreement. a God damn contract, I picked my storyline, my name, my religion, my career, my time to live and die. Who do you think you the the f*ck do you think you are? You broke the deal; you lied. I keep hearing another lesson learned, another season taught; only the strong survive this training.

I signed every contract I was asked to my karmic, soulmate, and twin flame. But up until now, I repeated my past everything, and everyone was not meant to last. I  mostly had the struggles that taught me how to stand up and fight even if that meant having dirt on my hands, for not everyone bleeds the same color blood, and I was born again, not meant to be a simple man.

Once again, I must go under the knife to fix the pieces and the broken parts of my body that have happened over the centuries; oh, how this contract has been bringing back memories that I hoped I would forget; oh, how it wakes me with screams and night sweats.

I wandered for my soul tribe, hoping and searching to be saved. Do you not know that free spirits are always the ones who do not know how to behave? I am running toward the wind because I signed that contract that says I am up for any challenge.

I keep asking and saying for so long, I have been the one suffering and who has always been the student. With this contract, did I not read the fine print that states with your decades of pain, you will now become the healer and the teacher? All I heard was always read before signing anything.
