I write to you a love letter
Maybe to ask you on a date
To express my feelings, I must state
But there is one feeling up there with love - hate

Hate is such a strong feeling
But so is love
Some say hate is stronger than love
But honestly, I don't know which is above

Of course, there’s love
I miss you, you look good
Hugs, kisses, I love you
There’s more than a few

Then there’s hate - swears
Middle fingers, suicidal notes
You can always break the love
With just a few quotes

Yes, they can come together
Love/hate relationships, frenemies
But those could go for the worst or the better
With just a simple love or a hate letter
