Snickerdoodle

'Twas flibbertigibbety, and the zonked-out snooze
Did stumble and bumble through the drowsy dews;
All droopy were the blubberblooms,
And the shivering snozzleflutes too.

Beware the snickerdoodle beast, my friend!
The fangs that bite, the claws that rend!
Beware the jittery jitterbug bug,
And avoid the wrath of the tizzy thug!

He took his flaming sword in hand:
For hours the dreary foe he sought—
Until he rested by the wonky tree,
And pondered what he ought.

And, as he stood in pondering thought,
The snickerdoodle beast, with eyes ablaze,
Came dancing through the foggy plot,
And sang out with a craze!

One, two! One, two! And with a shout
The flaming blade went slice and snout!
He left it slain, and with a grin,
He strutted off, and gave a spin.
