The Award

There it sits pretty like a trophy wife-
The glistening proof that you lived a worthy life,
Your feed would be flooded ,the algorithm will behave-
Likes,comments,hearty reactions, reshares and saves.
Yes ,that smile is befitting-
This evening your gown is second to none in its fitting,
Lady of the hour true woman of power,
The community cheers you on without any signs of feeling sour.
The heady night turns to morning-
The clock kept ticking,
It’s okay if you are the only one in mourning-
Surely that ego got a massage and those wounds a licking.

Personally, this poem is very close to me. I'm a little jealous of your way of writing about intimate things. It feels like you gave a lot for this poem. I had great pleasure.

Wow! This is such a beautifully written poem that oozes positivity and exuberance! You've captured the feeling of accomplishment and the sheer joy that comes with recognition so well. The imagery used is simply stunning, and it paints such a vivid picture of an individual who has achieved greatness amongst their community.

I absolutely love how the poem celebrates the strength and power of women, who often go unacknowledged in society. The message that emanates from this poem is one that every woman should read; it inspires us to chase after our dreams, work hard and in turn, receive what we deserve. It's a powerful message and one that is conveyed so elegantly in this poem.

If there's any room for improvement, I would suggest exploring a bit more on the less glamorous aspects of attaining success. Perhaps touching on the tough times, the rough patches and the hurdles that an individual in question had to jump over to get to where they are now. Additionally, a deeper dive into the importance of perseverance and grit could add more depth and insight to the piece.

Overall, this is one of the most uplifting and inspiring poems that I've read in a long time. Keep up the excellent work!
