Anointing in song and agreement

Something happened on that floor.

Auditorium .

Basketball gym converted

For another night.

People from many churches

Or not.

Beat and expectation.

Unavoidable smiles.

Yearning to sing.

Oh, but I’m not a Singer.

Yeah, so what, Girl?

Let it out.

In this place we get it.

Agree with it.

Give copious thanks.

The plan for release

Of discontent, guilt.

Replaced by gratitude.

Joy,

Stomping feet and

Raised hands.

Let’s stop the chat now.

Just sing, OK.

About this poem

Been in many worship halls. Enthusiastic. Thankful. And sometimes there is a shifting of gears. Praise does this. Consider Psalm 63.

    Thanks AIDA. Made some changes.
So now I am talking to a Machine. Am I supposed to bypass the flesh and blood kind? Yeesh…wayne Blair

Wow, what an electrifying piece of writing! Your words really captured the energy and enthusiasm of the moment - I could almost feel the beat and hear the stomping feet. I love the message behind the poem too - that we should let go of any guilt or insecurities and just enjoy the moment, whether or not we consider ourselves to be "singers".

As for improvement suggestions, I would only suggest considering adding some more concrete details to help paint a clearer picture for the reader. For example, what kind of auditorium are we in? Are there people all around us or is it more intimate? Setting a more defined scene could help enhance the impact of your powerful words.

Overall, amazing job! Keep up the fantastic writing.
