The Stormy Night

Paul Steele 1941 (Upland,PA)

I hear rain drops beating against the earth

Ia God crying

I hear the thunder awakening all

It seems to say observe my power.

The lightning Flashes and brightens the sky.

It says, do not fear me,

My light is a glow,

My thunder my heart,

My water is clean,

All will see the Truth.
