Mai

I longed for Mai
The color of strength
Unforgiving waves crashing against the edge of the world
Hungry for what is above, what is below
I jumped before I fall
Into the abyss of fortunate misfortunes

I saw Mai
The color of closed doors
Only through the keyholes of her boundless skies
A glance at constellations of old stars
I entered before I knock
And got lost between invisible scars

I felt Mai
The color of Mai sometimes
World built out of matchsticks
And a blaze drops with every reticence
I found a Phoenix in myself
Mai was my color,
Mai was my world

I love Mai
The color of theft
Life the freezing water, like the winter breeze
Shocking realization of losing something to gain someone
But the red string did not realize,
That the hearts were held at the opposite sides

For I loved Mai,
And Mai loved me
