Pain
Is it dark? Is it light? Mission of sacrifice out of spite? A warm heart that had turned cold and dead,
Lies and deception that had spread,
Life filled of sin with no regrets or doubts,
Giving my body away, my innocence away for clout
Disrespected myself for years
Faced almost all of my fears
Drugs that numbed me, turned me into someone I’m not
Going from getting teased to wanted like a THOT
Watching someone I cared about get shot and killed
Opened my eyes but turned me to pills
Pills I eventually got addicted to for quite awhile
Showing my cleavage was my style
Believing the only way to find love was to give my body away
Disrespecting myself in every way
Letting others talk to me with disrespect
Snapping at people, going to them directly
Until one day someone started loving me affectionately
Changed my whole life as well as made me his wife
A new and promising life was yet to come
A Man entered my life but where was he from?
No where around from here eyes like a crystal blue no longer in fear
We went through hell and back together, promised each other forever
Committing to one another, choosing to fix any problem thrown our way
Choosing one another, choosing to stay
I prayed to God let him be the one to love me unconditionally
Been through everything together even when we entered a plea
Both sober,happy, and clean
Loving unconditionally set the darkness free and out of my life
Today I am a happy and loving Parent, Nana, & Wife
