WHERE DO I DRINK FROM?

mad hippie poet 1974 (new jersey)

What cup do I drink from since now I walk this path by myself for myself?  I faced all the battles that were meant to destroy me but in front of my tired eyes and mud-covered face, I see the green of the mountaintop.

I am no longer this ghost of this shell
I am the man who they said that I can never be for I am my father's son, I say I am no longer afraid of that hell because I stand in the light of my own heaven.

My mind falls on my dreams that are reality answering the itch that I continue to scratch while asking the question, where do I drink from will my thirst, at last, be quenched?

If I am not dead but once again alive living a new life did I find what I was looking for in the past that no longer exists it can not be in the future because I am not even there the peace, love, and understanding is in the present. I only ask myself and not you because I am the only one drinking from my golden goblet
