Rising Strong

My heart shattered, pieces everywhere
Self-esteem crushed, it's just not fair
"Why am I not enough?" my heart cries
But my brain refuses to believe the lies

I try to silence the voice inside
The one that makes me want to hide
But it's hard when the pain is real
And my heart just can't seem to heal

"Am I not worth it?" my heart asks again
But my brain won't let the doubt begin
"You are more than enough," it says
"Let go of the pain and find your way"

It's a struggle, but I know it's true
I am worthy, and so are you
Our hearts may break and our self-esteem falter
But we'll find our strength and rise above the alter

We'll pick up the pieces and put them back together
Stronger than before, come hell or bad weather
So let's silence the doubts and believe in ourselves
For we are enough, with all our flaws and all our wealths.
