Up Yonder

I know that
I have visioned
When we meet on that
Beautiful Shore.
Saints embracing
Evermore.
Gone the threat
Or irritant of
Slewfoot’s many schemes.
Come the Joy and Peace
Of Faith’s best dreams.
Father in the midst
Bright smiling Face.
Jesus at His side
Gone His disgrace.
Spirit arming all
To work and learn.
Free, astounding, singing.
No blessing earned.
But GIVEN by the
Heart who yearned and yearned.
This His gathered Family.
No more Loss.
Made as One from
Looking at a Cross.
Trusting that each day
Its showing comes
Heaven, here, in steadfast
Holy Homes…Amen.
