Let peace come

let peace come over my life
let there be calm
so turbulent have these
past days been
i need a calm ocean
to settle things in my life
let you be my saviour
the one who was meant for me
be my salvation in this desert
that is my life
a permanent home, somewhere to
rest my tired head
let me rest on your shoulders
and where your kisses
will wash away everything
that has made
up this troubled life
i just need sanctuary
and protection so
that i can feel
whole again
and in your arms
i will find it...

    A worthy tribute to a harbouring fellow traveler. Even simple thought of same breaks the loneliness, brings some sun. You are disappointed at the standards and potholes all around. Humanity has flubbed the works. It is those genes and gross self-importance started by Adam and Eve. Compare a beautiful farm district ruined by Chernobyl nuclear reactors gone berserk…Wayne Blair.

      this teri is one of your best comments. Poetic in itself. Yours is a ministry in uplift and affirmation. This at the cost of pushing other of your own poems. But still I would rejoice if you published a few more…Wayne Blair.
