Petal start to spread...
Oh how I dread...
I wish I said goodbye,
As more comes to fly!
Colours start to show...
Especially when the sun goes slow,
Fairys in the night...
Won't stop, no don't try!
You start to see a bloom;
Yes, it's the petals... glowing in the moon...
Slowly seeing life leave,
More comes home... just being free.
Never forget to love...
Don't stop... not now,
just look above!
"I hope you don't miss me"
They say as we dread...
We shouldn't miss them there in a better place,
All you have to do... is remember your always ahead.
About this poem
I grew up poor, I never want anyone to suffer like that ever... this is a reminder to always look ahead not behind.
