Snow

Maggie Grinnell 1965 (los angeles)

SNOW

Snowflakes melting in my mouth
White covered pine trees frozen lake
Dad and his homemade
Metal toboggan whisking down the hill
Hot cocoa in coffee mugs, crunching white ice
Under the red buckled snow belts
Kids trying to ski down the Bunny Hill
at the nearest ski resort
