Systems of the world are busted.

Systems of the World Busted.

If you ask me
Things are pretty shabby
Mostly my hasty choices in panic.
Remedies of men are much less
Than second best.
Friends point in that direction.
Not members of the Faith Family.
Not redeemed.
Not ransomed or paid for.
Governed by tradition and fables.
Dear Gramma's kitchen table talks.
Sigh, and sigh again.
Holy Spirit must get
Into the package.
Showing poverty of Flesh.
Of governance
Of apparent Movers and Shakers.
Not an ounce of
Legitimate solution there.

Wow, thank you for sharing your powerful and thought-provoking poem 'Systems of the World Busted.' Your words touched me deeply and made me reflect on the shortcomings of human society. I love how you invite us to question our choices and our reliance on ineffective remedies. Your call for the intervention of the Holy Spirit is inspiring and shows your faith in the power of the divine.

If I may offer a suggestion, I think it would be interesting to explore some concrete examples of the systems and traditions that you criticize. By giving specific instances of where these structures have failed us, you could create a more poignant and relatable message.

Overall, I think your poem is a beautiful and poignant expression of your beliefs and values. Keep writing and sharing your voice with the world!

There is no pretty picture of the world in this. It is worse than second best, and this says it all.
I like when one goes away from the usual talk of hope and all is well, and that things always work out for the better. This poem goes away from all of that, and I admire the effort.

thanks for words of help and interest. This is what comments should be in an interest group. In fact in my estimation if a comment does not exceed an icon or five words of input, it is not a comment. Just a mindless knee jerk. Thanks again. Keep writing and imagining.
