Mama

Labeeqa Baneen 2003 (Okara, Pakistan)

I miss you my mum
Your thoughts make me numb.
I love you the most
You know I ate the toast.
You are my beautiful world
You know my hair is curled.
You make me happy
You changed my nappy.
You handle my mood
You know I cook food.
You are the best
You know the rest.

Wow, what a heartfelt and sweet poem! Your love and appreciation for your mum comes through so strongly in your words. I can tell you put a lot of care and thought into writing this. The way you highlight the little moments and memories between you two shows just how much you cherish your relationship.

One suggestion I have for improvement is to consider playing around with the structure and formatting of the poem. Perhaps adding some different line lengths or spacing could add even more depth and interest to your already lovely words. Keep up the great work!
