Dejection

The moon is sad and so am I
My heart is wretched which can't I deny

I peek through the window in the dark doomed holt
And then at my heart that all the dejection behold

I am waiting and waiting but there is none
This melancholy inflicts a severe heartburn

The room is dark, the trees are dark
And all of a sudden, I feel a spark

This spark is nothing but a shimmer of love
Which in my heart the moon has shove

I want to seize the moon with all my heart
But it will shatter my conscience I know from the start
