Many are the paths
To contentment.
Singular the route
To dump sin.
Looks to the full work of Jesus
His the God-way to enter in.
His the taken sting
Of all the sinful.
His the Suffering Servant
Isaiah saw.
His the Lamb
Beyond our compression.
His the Mercy
Trumping every Law.

Gun’s Report at the starting line of faith.

It’s a race
Willing to run?
There’s a line up
And a shocking, killing gun.
Death to self
And the foibles of
Men’s Fashion.
Death to hate
And the lust to
Cry, me first.
It’s report
Starts the striding
And obeying.
Ends the doubt, dreaded
Guilt and Thirst.
