A Simple Room

There's so much
character
within your
lovely room.
As striking as your
wistful complexion,
and your fermenting
personality.
There must be some
thousand stories
within this old
life-filled carpet.
Even your bedsheets
sing out humble praise,
for the many hours
spent in that warm maze.
The mess at your closet door,
or the weary bedroom lights
tell me so much about you,
and so much more of myself.
There is no you or me
we only exist in
my far-fetched, naive thoughts,
and that is the dull end.
