Karma

Here I write with black nails
To seek vengeance upon your gate.
Tears brought whispers, and
Crows made me company.

They be screaming my name,
Mumbling your lies
With paper flowers rising out of.
I always liked the crimes, you baked.

Every encounter, every glance you gave me
God knows I tried.
To be nice, to fulfill your never-ending desires
Like a soldier to its king.
Little did I knew,
All you saw in me was disgust.
My garden became cemetery to you.
My rainbow changed to lightning
With heavy thunder and nonstop rain.

You hated the way I talk
The way I walk, and
From the top of my head
To tip of my toes.
My soul, my heart was crashed by your words.

That's why you treated others
With undying love and respect.
I would always do the dirty jobs you wanted for, and
Wrap the ropes around my neck.

Could it be that you are jealous?
Or you're selfish and wants me
To shatter like a glass deep into
The tomb called "Failure"
You wishes to bury me in
Cause there's something you cannot have?

Either way, karma exists.
She's gonna haunt you for years.
Even after your skin turns blue.
Karma will let you suffer in a never-ending circle
Without you not knowing in one.

Then at midnight,
She will come to me and hug me
With your blood stains dried
Cause all you ever did was step on me

About this poem

You try to live your life to the fullest. We all try to figure it out in our own ways and own pace. But life comes at you to make you fall down or rise up in the air. But what do you feel when you figure out one person is trying to pull you down when your wings spread. This poem tried to show how that feels like.
