The kite and the boomerang

Poppy wore red
Quite often grandpa said
Grandpa bought a boomerang
And the boomerang was red
They flew it by the kite
The kite fell and he turned red
Inside he was dead
Now again Poppy was wearing red
When she first held the dead
Then the boomerang was kept in the shed
Grandpa didn't buy a new kite
Poppy bought a new dress inspite...
But it was not red
That one she had to shed
With many of her tears
Now she flies the kite alone
