Elevated to a level of desire
I thought we would ever meet
Your smile is branded into my mind
Your voice warms my heart
And your touch strengthens
Every beat
A Fool I Have Become
Just a whisper of my name
Flutters my heart
And with every gaze
Upon your almond eyes
Freezes me in time
A deer trapped in head lights
A Fool I Have Become
Your smile means so much to me.
And I'm not sure my heart could
Handle your unhappiness
Damn
