Tiny Memory

Sunday was Little Nana's day
She would expect our visit
to her tiny home
But though our itchy feet didn't stay long
We wouldn't miss it
Father with the roses
Colouring books at our fingertips
Nana looking cosy
In floral, perfumed with her necklace and rings
Listening to him attentively
Her records that taught him to sing
Apples waiting our hungry tums
Who knows what you talked about
but you always had lots to say
Your love now graces the heavens
and in my heart your tiny memories will stay
