Life and Love

Sitting here in the dark
Staring out the window at the stars
Wondering what the future will bring
As my life changes
and time seems to fly
I have no clue of what to do
Guess I'll just have to take
A day or two.

Life is hard
Love is harder
Both can change
In a flick of a switch
Life and love both contain choices
Whether we listen
and speak with our voices.

God has a hand in both of these things
Leading you towards the path of virtue.
Our heart is the guide
And our brain is the conscious

My path in life has gone askew
Now I'm not sure what to do.
God please help me see
What I need to see
And be the best person I can be.
I love you so much
And look to your guidance

No longer have a partner to hold
To get through the tough times
Alone is empty and I feel afraid
And I have only me to blame.

I feel like I'm falling
Will this black hole
