Stoned on Valentine's Day

On the fourteenth day of February
Alone in the company of myself
Was the time I began to worry
Tipping over a bottle, from the liquor shelf

Soon I began to realize
My solitude is no surprise
I neglected to go out and socialize
To find a Valentine, that'd be wise

Instead I scrolled the internet
Comforted by too much wine
Searching for fads, found a perfect pet
A nostalgic pet rock, inscribed with words " BE MINE"
