This should help

Upon the beginning
Of my death
Soon after the close
Of my last breath
Don’t query
Ponder or ask why
Or even dwell
That this is the last goodbye
Its not important
That this is the end
But simply
Were you there in the now and then?
Were you with me
In the places I had been?
Did you care about me?
As I did you?
If so, then you’re among the few
That I loved and knew
The ones that carried me through
Fear not my friend
This is truly not the end
Know in my passing
It’s my Love for you I send
To ease your sorrow and help you mend
As I wait for us to be together again

Eric (and sometimes not)

About this poem

These are just simple words to help those after I leave. I know there wont be many but I want to make sure they don't grieve because I will see them again.
