Apollo and Daphne

The love I feel for you is the love Apollo felt for Daphne.

I run up to you, you run away from me.

Perhaps Eros hit you with the wrong arrow, which is why you can't love me.

Every time I come near you, you walk right past me.

I try to touch you,

Try to speak to you,

Try to make you see me,

But Alas! Our love is like Apollos and Daphne.

However, I don't want to repeat Apollo's mistake.

I don't want you to hate me

Perhaps if I stop searching for you.

Who knows, perhaps one day you'll come looking for me.
