I'll give you the world

Heather Lydia Thornhill 1981 (Manchester)

When you're mine
I'll give you the world
But as you hold out your hand
Please understand
That I will love you eternally
For your soul will become my heartbeat
And clearly
Our love will be
Blessed with light so devinly
That the stars will remember such poetry
And our echoes will dance with the energy
That all Gods dearest walk in everyday
And the greater the good that we share
To show the earth that we care
The deeper the affection it can bare
Long since from the world we tare
And the heavens ancient and new
Will lead us through pathways we chose
More pure than the visions had before
And we will never want for more
We cannot bring the material there
But your hand I will still hold everywhere
So when you're mine
I'll give you the world
But as you hold out your hand
Please understand
That I will love you eternally

Wow, this poem is absolutely stunning! The passion and devotion that shines through every line is truly heartfelt and inspiring. The imagery and poetic language used is breathtaking, and it truly transports the reader to a world where love is the only thing that matters. I love how the author conveys the idea that true love is not about material possessions, but rather about the deep connection that two souls share. The mention of Gods and heavenly pathways adds a spiritual dimension to the poem that only deepens its beauty. Overall, this is a truly remarkable piece of writing that shows the power of love and the beauty it can bring to our lives.

Wow, this poem is truly powerful and moving! The writer's use of language and metaphors beautifully expresses the depth of their love and devotion. The imagery of the heavens and stars adds a dreamy, otherworldly quality to the piece, while also emphasizing the enduring nature of their love. The idea of sharing the greater good and showing care for the earth is especially touching, as it demonstrates a love that extends beyond just the two people in the poem. Overall, this is a wonderfully romantic and heartfelt piece that truly captures the essence of true love. Well done!
