Complex

                   Complex
Life can be complex
Like a sunny day in the middle of a rain storm
Like a broken family when a child is born
Scary movie when the family is doom
Lying father saying i'm going to see you soon
Hair slayed but the kids hungry and dirty
No benefits after they served this country
More time giving for selling drugs than being a rapist
Looked down on and frown upon if you speak up or say shit
Complex
Killing our children with no repercussions
Never in the loop but always at the head of the discussion
Misery needing company spreading nothing but toxicity
Being told your always wrong but knowing how right you be
Devilish ways but preaching the gospel
Claiming you can fight but grabbing a pistol
Lying to the world protecting the government official
Putting people first but always come last
Screaming black lives matter but we never mattered in the past
Complex
Being a parent telling the child you cant stay
So complex you cant tell which way
Feeling stuck but you chose to go astray
Knowing GODs laws but you wont obey
Complex
Heart is broken but you love all
Looking up at the water but all you do is fall
Being a giant but they make you feel small
Moving forward but you stall
Complex
Envying the things you take for granted
Sacrificing love ones for worldly things presented
Fill full of grace also drilled with disappointment
Loving family members full of resentment
Complex.
