The Elders

The elders meet to solve problems most unique,
    to the western world,
        they speak.

In our troubled world,
    this stewardship is required,
        To you in all honesty,
            my loyalty is promised.

It's true that in the past,
    I flipped and floundered,
        with the truths, I've found.

But now to my great chagrin,
    the truth does clearly resound.

About this poem

It was my great stubbornness that led me to refrain from publishing this poem I was told it was good but disbelieved.
