Brother

I felt guilty.
Guilty because I couldn’t help.
Help the kindest human I know.
I know that because he always comes through.
Comes through to my aid whenever I ask.
Today he asked but I couldn’t come through.
I wasn’t stringy. I had financial constraints.

Then why is all this guilt?
Is this how helplessness feels .
I never want to feel this again.
But this is life.
I know I will encounter even worse.
We can only hope it only gets better.
We can only work towards making it better.
We can only hope we endure the turbulence.
And atleast feel helpful.
