The wind on the swaying grass

I can cope now
Now I am strong
Some tears passed though
Since you died
But I know that there's a heaven
And that us and you are fine
I look upon the swaying grass
And it can ease my mind
Its golden and its beautiful
And its energy seems to glide
But however radiant its glow
it is not your eyes
For when your eyes told stories so
Of how to view the world's goodbyes
I looked at them much closer
Than your dear soul ever knew
And with every moment cherished
I knew that I loved you
So when you get a glimpse of me
In your heavenly form
I hope you know that my distant heart
Was always filled with pride
