The loser

The loser is one who never wins. The only one suffering for his sins. Does he give up too soon without a fight. Is he always left wondering what was right. Did he not have the right plan or execute it well or apply the right pressure for a period or spell. Did he bet on it too long or come up too short or whatever comes up in the critics own court. It’s funny the lessons from winners and losers is exactly the same. Even though they end up on different ends of the game. And even if the margin of victory was thin the pundits were quite sure about which one would win. Sometimes there is no deep wisdom in loss sometimes it’s just the turn of the toss. And as long as there is the dice of luck that spins. There will be a loser who never wins.
