Caught in a Time Warp

I don't want something as sweet as love
I don't want something as white as snow
I don't want something as majestic as the sky above
I don't want something as beautiful as the scenery below

I don't want something as fake as sympathy
I don't want something as deceitful as your promises
I don't want something as hurtful as your apathy
I don't want something as painful as your lies endless

I want something which I deserve
I want something which will forever be mine
I want something which I can preserve
I want something which in the times of darkness doth shine

I want something which i can't tell
I want something which i don't know
I want something which is far far from hell
I want something which isn't as bad as the times are now
