Robert A. Dora
Abigail vesely 2003 (Grass valley)
I see my favorite colors when i kiss you
When you’re gone i try not to miss you
The sky is still blue
But everything feels anew
A new door to walk through
This time with more clues
I stumbled upon a question
Is this all destined?
Cuz I’ve already learned my damn lessons
And another one isn't my intention
So consider my objection
This isn’t just obsession
I endlessly cherish this possession
They don’t sell ones like this at the concession
Cracker jacks and paper sacks
Baseball boys with baseball bats
More flavor than a tic-tac
None compare to your soundtrack
You’re the song i endlessly listen to
Everyday back to back
Addictive like crack
More impressive than a Cadillac
You are my big gold plaque
That says,” I won at life and that’s that.”
Sometimes i double back
Specifically to a throwback
Called “don’t wanna breathe,” by Kodak
Cuz what he says is true,
“Ain’t no point in living if I can’t live my life with you”
You are every screw and all the glue
That keeps me together even out of your view
So without further ado
Now that the pot has had time to brew
May this construe my spew
Your mind i want to imbue
With the fact that i fucking love you.
