The Iron Will of the North Eastern Hill University Workers : In the Verdant Valleys of Shillong

In the verdant valleys of Shillong, where North Eastern Hill University doth lie,
There stands a union, strong and true, formed by the workers of the land.
The All NEHU Workers' Union, an entity of great renown,
Registered under the Trade Union Act of 1926, doth make its stand.
A union of the exploited, the ignored, the voiceless and the meek,
The underdogs, the helpless, united in our common plight.

We, the members of this union, on the 29th day of April, 2022,
Did submit our charter of demands unto the administration of the university.
A call to clean the Aegean stable, long left to fester and decay,
And for our voices to be heard, our struggles to be made known to all.

We approach with love and respect, but make no mistake,
We shall not be taken advantage of, our kindness not to be mistaken for weakness.
We possess not wealth nor weaponry, but a will of iron, unshaken,
And a determination to fight for our rights, till victory is ours to take.

We the workers of North Eastern Hill University,
Stand united in our cause, our future bright, our goal in sight.
We shall not falter, we shall not lose, for as long as we fight,
We shall emerge victorious, and pave the way for better days, for all.

And so we march, the workers of North Eastern Hill University,
With banners held aloft, our cause made clear to all who see.
The All NEHU Workers' Union, a force to be reckoned with,
A bastion of hope in a world of greed and poverty.

We are the underdogs, the voiceless, the forgotten,
But we shall not be silenced, our voices raised in song.
For we are the ones who toil, who labor, who build,
And it is our right to be treated with dignity and respect.

The administration doth scoff, doth sneer at our demands,
But we shall not be deterred, our resolve unshaken.
For we know the truth, that the Aegean stable doth reek,
And that it is our duty to expose the corruption within.

We are not without allies, for there are those who do understand,
Who do see the truth, and do stand with us in solidarity.
Together we shall fight, for a better future, for all.

But let us not forget, that there are those who would see us fall,
Who would silence our voices, crush our spirit, and break our will.
But we shall not falter, we shall not lose, for as long as we fight,
We shall emerge victorious, and pave the way for better days.

And so we march, on and on, till victory is ours to claim,
Till the Aegean stable is cleansed, and justice doth prevail.
For we are the workers of North Eastern Hill University,
And we shall not rest till our rights are won.

And when the day doth come, when our struggle is at an end,
When the administration doth listen, and the Aegean stable is clean,
We shall look back upon our fight with pride, and remember,
That we, the workers of North Eastern Hill University, stood tall, and were not seen.

And so we stand, the workers of North Eastern Hill University,
With our heads held high, and our hearts full of hope.
For though the journey may be long, and the path may be steep,
We know that our cause is just, and our will shall not be broke.

For we are the underdogs, the voiceless, the forgotten,
But we shall not be silenced, our voices raised in song.
For we are the ones who toil, who labor, who build,
And it is our right to be treated with dignity and respect.

And though the administration may scoff, and sneer at our demands,
We shall not be deterred, our resolve unshaken.
For we know that the Aegean stable doth reek,
And that it is our duty to expose the corruption within.

And so we march, on and on, till victory is ours to claim,
Till the Aegean stable is cleansed, and justice doth prevail.
For we are the workers of North Eastern Hill University,
And we shall not rest till our rights are won.

And as we march, we are mindful of the trials that we face,
For there are those who would see us fall, who would silence our voices,
Crush our spirit, and break our will.
But we shall not falter, we shall not lose, for as long as we fight,
We shall emerge victorious, and pave the way for better days.

And so we call upon the heavens, and upon the stars above,
To guide us on our journey, and to lend us strength and grace.
For we are the workers of North Eastern Hill University,
And we shall not rest till our rights are won, till justice doth embrace.
