Bad things

Why do bad things happen to good people?
Never thought I would ever use this phrase.
I ain't a good person.
But him, he was a good person.
The person who took me In
Took me in like one of his own.
Furnishing my first rented room.
Took me for grocery shopping.
Paid for the groceries shopped.
Even some clothes we shopped.

Why do bad things happen to good people?
Even the mean aunt knows.
Knows of his great heart
His kind heart.
She even says he is humble.
Actually the most humble person she has ever met.
Why do bad things happen to good people?
Good people who even that grump knows are good people!

Why did you take his son.
His only son.
Never saw the man so shattered.
All the light dimmed.
The smile is no more
No parent wants to see their offspring gone
But the kind man saw.
And you let it happen.
Why do bad things happen to good people?!

Wants to see HIS offering (agreement).
But otherwise an excellent account. His suffering refined many in their meditations on his providence and unjust lot. But Buddy, Heaven is a long glorious time to be right, albeit tested. The Glory that shall be revealed in us. Romans chapter 8…Douglas Blair.
