Fairies

I know in my heart, as the songs play
Enjoying the time and weather day by day

The ray of sun, the bright moon in the dust
The smell of copper, and with a little slight rust

The music, the sounds, the crickets get a little loud
Through the silence, the things are humming with buzzing, and toy balls bouncing all around

Opening, and closing
Slamming of doors
It really upsets me, so much noise

It happens in dreams, echos and weird tiny screams
Repeats of T.V shows so it goes

Or

Are fairies really real

Shanique L Marshall

I have been writing poems, music, and in the process of writing a book for many years. I learned to incorporate different styles of writing, and combined them into one. Some of my writings will either be about my passion, my everyday festivities, food, to even devices. I find that writing has given me a sense of release with my emotions, or the experiences I have encountered over the years of my life. I hope you can enjoy my work, and maybe find some kind of relation to it, so you can feel what I felt. more…
