Parents and forebears
Witnessing
With smiles.
But you Jerusalem.
Backsliding vipers.
You stifle prophets’
Burdens, guidance.
You push bottles
At Nazarites.
You delight in contravening
ME, the one of many
Past rescues.
Neglectful.
Despicable.
Abusive.
Watch out tomorrow.
