4:01 am

I would have been fine if you told me
you didn't want me anymore
I would have been fine if you were
even a little bit honest about what you did
but you weren't
you watched me try to make our one sided relationship work alone
you watched me make promises
I knew you wouldn't bother to keep
you watched me open up
when it seemed you couldn't care less
you watched me fight for something
you weren't willing to give half the effort for
you made me wait until I was putting
everything that I had into you
just for you to tell me that wasn't good enough
for you to leave as if I was never a reason to stay
for you to lie about everything you felt
I guess it's my fault
for falling for it in the first place
