Broken

The light is not shining bright where I sit
I let the tears stream down my face
Realizing I fought to be in this place
But why
Why did I fight to have this sight
Why would I cry for this
Why would I die for this
This life is tearing me apart
Wanting to live and die at the same time don’t sit to right
Im lost in this place of brokenness
Because I begged for just one moment
See
I see what I asked for and prayed for but it is not supposed to feel like this
Im broken
Im broken
IM BROKEN
And my brokenness is starting to be harder to dismiss
I don’t know if to live or die but yet I try
To comply
With with every thing Im supposed to be
And supposed to do
But no one sees my emptiness
My cry for help getting drowned out in you will be okay
But Im not
Im broken
IM BROKEN
IM BROKEN
I just wish it all away
But I can’t say that
Because God never gives us more than we can bare but
Honestly my back is broken from baring
I see no help
I call no help
I break some more
I am no more than dust on the floor
I
I
Im broken

So you were flat on your back looking up. Good posture for taking a look at Heaven. So far distant from your situation? Nope. Rather undergirding your situation. In Acts chapter 27 the sailors use ropes called helps to wrap around and under the wooden hull in a terrific storm. Holds it together. One of the names applied to the Holy Spirit is the Helper..Douglas Blair…you must contribute some more poems.
