Underneath all the Texas skies

Underneath all the Texas skies
There’s no quite disguise
For the feeling He felt Of a love so high
That even made the angles sit down and cry
Of the love taken and not returned
Why It’s plain to see he’s not meant for her
A clean conscience from his blood and sweat
A self reliant portrait he tried to redeem
with time against his side and the truth near
A fools paradise was shown in the end
An illusion of success
Love brewed bitter over the course
Through it all he showed no remorse
Perpetual pride was the remedé that Surrendered our fate
A day to late revealed we were no mistake.
