counting the days

Counting the days

The goodbyes have  only gotten harder.
Leaving you is leaving my heart behind.
It’s crazy how in short amount of time I never knew what I was missing until our paths crossed .
Now I’m so wrapped up in you,  I never wanna know what a day without calling you mine feels like.
It’s even crazier how much I don’t want this to stop, I want to see this through
It tough it’s hard it’s something I don’t like doing but it’s all I’ve known.
Sleepy days and restless nights are my constant addiction.
Ive asked myself why? but the only answer I’ve found is I don’t want to fail .
Ive always been told,
You can live for love or for the money ,But you can’t have both.
You know I’ll always choose your love over anything.
There’s days I wish I could leave ,days I wish I could do it all over.
Im not gonna lie there is times I do get caught up and overwhelmed and want to yell and curse.
I close my eyes and my surroundings stop and a silent pause intervenes cause all I see is your gorgeous face and beautiful smile.
In your arms is all where I wanna be.
And as hard as I try nothing will take me away from where im at but for that moment in time your serenity gives me strength to keep  going.
