It always gets better ☘️

Life?
Who has it figured out.
Everyone goes through episodes
Sorry for the comradely spirit.

Here is a story.
Lost all parents at young age.
Orphaned, had to live with grandparents.
They were not well off
But they provided.
Provided for their second generation.

He was bright, he worked hard
Passed the exams well.
Got a scholarship.
Went to the best school.
To pursue an engineering degree.

He felt he didn't belong.
But never wanted to disappoint
Disappoint his now aging guardians.
So he still worked hard
But he still knew he didn't belong.

However, the more he worked hard,
The more it still didn't work out .
He started performing dismally.
He was failing in school.
Failing but he still worked hard

On the third year of school he couldn't have it anymore.
He quit school.
He knew he would break their hearts
But they took it well .

After toiling for two years.
Doing odd jobs .
He had made enough.
Enough to enroll to the medical school.
Medicine was his passion.

This time it worked out.
He passed well.
He got a scholarship to study abroad
And the grandparents saw the success
Breathed their last fulfilled
One of best medical surgeons in the country.

But when he speaks of it .
The dark days were the worst.
The suicidal thoughts.
But all worked out

It only gets better.
Trust in the lord .
That saved him from a mental breakdown.
It all worked out .
It always gets better.

Don't quit on life.
Always find someone to tell your fears.
Mental health is paramount.
Find someone to confide in.
It always works out
